How To Lease Rentals Using Social Media Marketing Blog Post

News Flash: We’ve now entered the era of social media marketing.  And in this era, where 72% of all online adults are active on Facebook, why do so many residential property management companies only market rental properties on their website?

The truth is most residential property managers are notorious for lagging behind other industries when it comes to marketing.  Placing a property on the company website just doesn’t cut it anymore.  The reality is most people DON’T hang out on your website, but you can find billions of them on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat & Twitter.

Having a strong social media presence is no longer an option for property management companies, it’s a necessity.  Here at San Diego Premier Property Management we’re proud to say that we’re active on all 4 social platforms mentioned above, actually we disseminate content to our clients and tenants on 7 different social communities.

That’s SEVEN different social communities where prospective tenants and clients have the opportunity to see great pictures and videos of available rental properties, interact with staff, receive original content that’s informative and educational, and most importantly engage with our company on a level much greater then ever before.

Here’s Some Examples of our Social Media Activity:

  • Instagram Stories showing behind-the-scenes office culture.
  • Facebook Live of new rentals before they hit the market.
  • Facebook Live bi-monthly broadcast of our #RentTime show.
  • Snapchat stories shadowing daily business activities.

This type of social media strategy is the new way to market rental properties.  Yes, it’s still important to have great marketing pictures and videos on your website, but creating content on social media platforms that entices prospective tenants and potential clients to engage with your company and become part of your social community is the ultimate goal.

So it’s understandable that when the opportunity to attend the Social Media Marketing Word 2017 conference in sunny San Diego presented itself, I was excited.

Fun Fact>>>Social Media Marketing World 2017 is the world’s largest social media marketing conference.

In true social media fashion I broadcasted my daily experience at Social Media Marketing World 2017 over various social platforms using Snapchat, Instagram Stories & Facebook Live.
